The distinctions of the Student Teams of the Senior High School and the Junior High School of our School in the World Robotics Olympiad Qualifiers WRO, which took place on Saturday July 1, 2023 at the premises of OTE Academy, were excellent.
The “Minders” Senior High School Student Team participated with the “Aqua Byte – Rising Data” project, competed in the Future Innovators Category and won 1st place, securing their participation in the World Educational Robotics Olympiad to be held in Panama. The members of the Minders Student Group are Odysseas Kesentes, Evangelos Daskalopoulos and Alexandros Iliadis.
The Innovation Award and 4th place was won by the ‘’Minders Juniors’’
High School Student Team in the Future Innovators Category. The members of the Team are the students Evangelos Pappas, Stavros Adamopoulos, Thodoris Boulinis and E.P.
The 6th place in the Future Innovators Category was won by the “Minders Juniors” Junior School Student Team with the students Lambros Iakovakis, Filippos Geredakis, Giorgos Kourtas, Phaidona Daskalopoulos and Alexandros Vouzas.
The preparation of the Student Teams was undertaken by the Robotics Coaches Dimitris Moraitis and Jason Taoukis with the support of the graduates Orestis Zikoulis and Vassilis Kakkaris.
In the Robo Mission Category, the Student Team of the “Minders Juniors” Junior High School with the students Electra Zikoulis, Christina Mammonas and Konstantinos Alexopoulos was ranked 4th.
The preparation of the Student Team was undertaken by Robotics Coach Giota Triantafillou.
