Senior High School

Philosophy

The Senior High School is rightfully considered to be the culmination of the educational process and the final stage of shaping the personality of the teenager. All kinds of cognitive and pedagogical functions are carried out in Senior High School, providing the graduate with a concrete intellectual arsenal and a mindset that will allow him to achieve the place he is dreaming of in tertiary education and become a useful member of society. That is why Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi stands very sensitively next to the teenager at this crucial stage of his life, where literally his future is shaped.

The programme of the Senior High School of Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi moves along two axes:

on the one hand, it aims at introducing students to Tertiary Education in Greece through their success in Panhellenic Examinations, and abroad through the G.C.E International Program (A- Levels) which is included in the Lyceum programme.

On the other hand it guarantees a well-rounded education both at on a multilateral knowledge base basis and as a humanistic ideal for the formation of an integral personality that will be creative as tomorrow’s adult in the scientific, cultural and social reality of our country, Europe and the wider globalized environment.

Thus, the Senior High School prepares students for Tertiary Education without losing its pedagogical character as the ultimate objective.
