3rd place and Praise for Best Model at the Panhellenic Elementary Education Robotics Competition 2019

Among 1,177 school participations nationwide, the three Robotics Teams of the EEkpedeftiki Anagennisi impressed audiences and judges with their excellent presence in the Panhellenic Educational Robotics Competition 2019, for elementary school students.

The U.P.S. Team (Underground Power Saving) of our School won the 3rd place in the category “Aegean Archipelago: Technology helps to develop the islands”.

The F.A.S.T. Team (First Aid Sea Technology) of our School deservedly received the Praise of the Best Model for the most beautiful model of the Semifinal Assessment Phase, in the category “Aegean Archipelago: Technology helps to develop the islands”.

The participation of our School Group ‘’Follow the Guide’’, which was distinguished among the 30 Best Teams in Greece, was also exceptional, in the category “Aegean Archipelago: Technology helps to develop the islands”.

The above successes continue the tradition of our School in the field of Technology with remarkable participations and distinctions of our students.

The Robotics Team of the Senior High School, which participated in the Exhibition Visitors’ of the event, also presented its own potential, presenting the multi-award winning project “Greenwave” which has won 1st place in the Panhellenic Lyceum Educational Robotics Competition 2017, 1st place in the WRO Competition, 11th place in the overall standings and 2nd place in the “Innovation” category at the Robotics Olympiad and was invited to the World Congress of Youth Entrepreneurship 2018.Congratulations to all the students who took part in the Intra-School, Regional and Panhellenic Educational Robotics Competition as well as to the Coaches who undertook their preparation and contributed decisively to the above distinctions, Mr. Dimitris Moraitis, Mrs. Sissy Spanopoulou, and the collaborator Jason Taouki.
