 Elisavet Chiou: Admitted to study Biochemistry at the University of Oxford

According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Oxford is the best university in the world and ranks third globally in Biological Sciences.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to Elisavet’s unwavering dedication, intellectual curiosity and hard work, as well as to the supportive environment fostered at Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi. Alexandros Iliadis: Admitted to study Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we congratulate Alexandros Iliadis, a final-year Lykeio student at Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi, on his admission to the Aerospace Engineering programme at TU Delft. According to the respected QS World University Rankings and Shanghai Ranking, this department is among the top programmes worldwide in Aerospace Engineering.

This significant success stems from Alexandros’s strong performance in his GCE A-Levels at Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi, the systematic preparation by our teachers, and his participation and distinctions in Olympiads and national competitions in Educational Robotics, Astronomy and Astrophysics, as well as Informatics competitions.

Elisavet Vasilakaki: Admitted to study Econometrics and Data Science at the University of Amsterdam

Anastasia Karachaliou: Admitted to study Law at Durham University

Efstratios Karavas: Admitted to study Mathematics with Statistics at the University of Bristol

We warmly congratulate Efstratios Karavas, a final-year Lykeio student at Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi, on his admission to Mathematics with Statistics at the University of Bristol. In the UK, Bristol is consistently ranked among the top five for mathematical research, and according to Shanghai Ranking its Statistics programme is 35th worldwide. Efstratios has also received offers from Durham, Edinburgh, Manchester, and the University of Groningen (Netherlands).

Anastasia Genakou: Admitted to study English Literature at Durham University

According to the QS World University Rankings, Durham is 33rd worldwide in English Studies and 4th in the UK. Georgia Samara: Admitted to study Automotive Engineering at Politecnico di Torino

We warmly congratulate Georgia Samara, a final-year Lykeio student at Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi, on her admission to Automotive Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. According to QS World University Rankings, Politecnico di Torino is 30th worldwide in Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering, while EduRank 2025 places it 14th worldwide in Automotive Engineering. Nikos Zymnis: Admitted to study Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e)
