The Fastest Car Award was won by the Arrow Racers Student Training Team of our School at the F1 World Schools Final in Abu Dhabi.
The award was presented to the students by the former Formula 1 World Champion, Nico Rosberg, who congratulated the students of our School for their global distinction.
The general ranking of the Student Group of our School was also exceptional, which took the 10th place among a number of participants from all over the world.
These global awards are the result of the great success of the members of “Arrow Racers” having won the 3rd place in the Panhellenic Competition and the Awards of Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Exhibition Peripheral and Best Car Construction.
The National Coordinator of the STEM F1 in Schools Program in Greece and Cyprus, Dimitris Polymatidis, talked about the great success of the Arrow Racers Group: “It is impressive that a group of students from Greece won the Fastest Car Award at the world finals of the F1 in Schools 2019 and is awarded by the former world champion Nico Rosberg in front of many officials, engineers, drivers and VIP guests from Formula 1 “.

The “Arrow Racers” Group is a partnership of students of the Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi and the 1st General High School of Panorama of Thessaloniki.
The students were prepared by the teachers of our School Dimitris Moraitis and Giannis Tountas as well as our graduate and scientific collaborator Stelios Agoropoulos.
