Our students will represent Greece in the World Olympiad of Educational Robotics

  • 1st place for the Student Team of the High School “Minders” in the National Final of the Robotics Olympiad and Qualification in the World Olympiad of Educational Robotics

 

  • 1st place for the Student Team of the Elementary School “Minders Junior” in the National Final of the Robotics Olympiad

 

The teams of students ‘’Minders Junior’’ and ‘’Minders High School’’ won the 1st place in the Open Category of the National Final of the Robotics Olympiad of WRO Hellas with the theme “Robots in the service of man” organized on Saturday, September 25, 2021. These top distinctions are the golden ticket for the World Olympiad in Educational Robotics that will take place next November.

The Minders Student Group from the High School of Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi will represent Greece by presenting the project it designed and aims to create a sustainable environment friendly to the environment and the use of renewable energy sources.

These successes of our students are the culmination of the systematic and continuous preparation and hands on training that takes place within the Robotics Clubs from the first grades of Primary School, which in recent years have secured nationwide and global distinctions for the Student Groups of our School. in the WRO Hellas Competitions.

The Student Group “Minders Junior” consisting of the students of the 1st High School Alexandros Vouza, Lambros Iakovakis, Konstantinos Karahalios and George Kourtas, presented the project “Robot assistant for agricultural work”.

The students of the Lyceum and members of the Student Group “Minders” Giannis Gamaletsos, Dionysis Kanellis, George Klonis, Thanos Kotsokolos and Konstantinos Moustakakis presented the project “AirField – Utilization of air energy in automatic greenhouses”.

The preparation of the students was undertaken by the Robotics Coaches Dimitris Moraitis, Iasonas Taoukis and Christos Antonopoulos.
