The Senior High School Robotics Team of Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi competed in the Future Innovators Category, at the WRO World Educational Robotics Olympiad, held in Panama from November 7 to 9, 2023, and won the 3rd place and the Bronze Medal.
The students of Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi Evangelos Daskalopoulos, Alexandros Iliadis and Odysseas Kesentes presented the project “Aqua Byte – Rising Data” and distinguished themselves among 451 groups of students from 93 countries, from all over the world.
Congratulations to our students and IT Manager, Head of Robotics and Trainer of the Robotics Team Mr. Dimitris Moraitis as well as Robotics Trainers Jason Taoukis and Thanos Kotsokolos, graduates of the School, who contributed decisively to the success of the Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi Student Team.
The “Aqua Byte – Rising Data” project was created in the context of the continuous search for cloud data solutions that offer options with fewer resources, fast provisioning, low cost, reduced carbon footprint and high flexibility in meeting customer needs. It is a startup company that aims at the exponential growth of online services and consequently of data centers.
The Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi with the Student Team “Minders” has won a total of 9 times the 1st place in the WRO Panhellenic Educational Robotics Competition and has participated in 8 Educational Robotics Olympiads with great global distinctions, special awards, while another four times it has been in the first top ten in the world.
Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi, through the systematic preparation of its students, in the Robotics Club from the first grades of Elementary School, continues to raise the bar high in the education of Robotics, New Technologies and innovation in Greece.
